West Sayville is a Suffolk County Municipal Course. Non Residents pay more. The GC has many interesting holes with no repeats in terms of appearance and difficulty. Each hole represents an interesting challenge. Beware the 15th hole which requires a precise drive onto a very narrow fairway surrounded by water on the left and trees on the right. The second shot must also be precise onto a slopping small green--toughest hole on the course. Overall, the track is not overly difficult. I shot an 81 on my fist try (14 hndcp) and felt I could have done a lot better...then again, who knows what will happen next time.

I played in an outing so differnet than a regular round but I enjoyed playing this course. Challenges for most levels of golfers but very plyable for all as well
